For what it's worth: I submitted the patches to RAIDframe for FreeBSD to the -current list; they should be in the archives. I also sent them back for inclusion in the next release; they were acknowledged, and they are supposed to be included. I'm not sure if they've been integrated in the code you can currently download yet, or not.
