Hi, I'm trying to get the soundcard in my laptop to work.
It's a VAIO Z600RE, the sound device is detected, according to dmesg:
pcm0: <Yamaha DS-1E (YMF744)> mem 0xfecf0000-0xfecf7fff irq 9 at device
9.0 on pci0
trying to make any noise doesn't return anything useful. I defined
DEB(x) to x in sound.h to turn on debugging, now using stuff like mpg123
gives me a lot of:
OUCH!(54) rl -70716(-67284) delta 3432 bufsize 4096 hwptr 0 rp 0(664)
Does anyone have more experience debugging this stuff?
Or did anyone fix this already?
I'm running -current as of the 21st by the way.
