-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I just did a full world rebuild. After which, I ran mergemaster. When I do a regular boot I get this error: Bus error Pid 43 (rcorder), uid 0: exited on signal 10 Can't exec getty '/usr/libexec/getty' for port /dev/ttyv*' The ttvy are 0-5. I can boot into single mode fine, and mount all partitions, but I don't know what to look for. /etc/gettytab looks ok, altough I don't know what a problem would look like. The file is intact, however. I can even do: '/usr/libexec/getty Pc' and get an amnesiac login. Also, like an idiot, I think I might have deleted my /etc backup. Not a good day for me. I looked through UPDATING and didn't see any mention of an issues related to this. Where have I gone wrong? - ------------------------------ Mike Loiterman grantADLER Tel: 630-302-4944 Fax: 773-868-0071 Email: mike@ascendency.net PGP Key 0xD1B9D18E -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 8.0.2 Comment: This message has been digitally signed by Mike Loiterman iQA/AwUBP0vY7mjZbUnRudGOEQKVrQCg29GETwm5PcnjTdYMNeoBkndGZ/8AoNdM 5eqgtg9WeMB5fbl9IjJjDM8j =6p2F -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
