Any suggestions out there? http://www.starnet.com/ has a $200 offering called x-win32. You can download an eval that dies after two hours, but you can restart it indefinitely 8). It seems to be nothing more than an X-window server. We're using it here on a few machines which have to connect to a Linux box in order to do PlayStation 2 development (weve got a PSX2 dev kit 8) ). I've had no complaints. I used to use eXceed a few versions ago (back when 586/133 + 48MB RAM was a pretty good configuation for a Winsloth box). I always found it came with a lot of crufty apps that I didn't need, but I liked running the video performance tuning thing!
