While debugging the issue with the console having display problems with 
some graphics cards, I noticed that in the help output from the boot 
loader (at the OK prompt):

  OK ?
  Available commands:
    reboot            reboot the system
    heap              show heap usage
    chain             chain load boot block from device
    ...
    vbe               vesa framebuffer mode management
OK

The way you get back to the bestie menu is by typing "menu" but that 
option is not in the help "?" output.

Just FYI - probably something simple no?

This is on tip of main / CURRENT.
