I'm using the ndis driver to drive a Dell True Mobile 1400 card. It's
right nearby the FreeBSD access point, but the freebsd access point
only sees it as running at 2 megabit. The output of wicontrol -l
might be telling:
[ 00:05:5d:ee:e6:e7 ] [ 11 ] [ 32 32 0 ] 1 [ ess ]
[ 1b 2b 5.5b 11b ]
[ 00:05:5d:ee:e6:e7 ] [ 11 ] [ 45 45 0 ] 10 [ ess shpr shst ]
[ 1b 2b 5.5 11 ]
The first station is another FreeBSD laptop ... notice that b follows
all the speeds. The second is the TM 1400 with the ndis driver. 1
and 2 have b's, but 5.5 and 11 don't.
The ndis driver is currently configured in full autoselect mode. I
can see other modes with ifconfig -m, but setting them sees of no effect.
Dave.
