Yeah, it does bear noting that even now that FreeBSD has US government export permission for crypto, the RSAREF/RSAINTL stuff has *patent* issues with RSA Associates that still prevent its being exported. The rsaref package, if you read its license carefully, is also not supposed to be used for commercial purposes inside the united states, so some people can't use it at all.
