Subject: Given support for i386 via lib32, chroot, and jails on amd64, what is the intended status of creating poudriere jails on amd64 using -ai386? Via METHOD pkgbase too?

The answer might very some based on context, such as stable vs.
release.

As stands:

# poudriere jail -c -jstable15-i386 -ai386 -U https://pkg.freebsd.org -mpkgbase=base_latest -v 15 -X

does create:

# poudriere jail -l
JAILNAME VERSION OSVERSION ARCH METHOD TIMESTAMP PATH
. . .
stable15-i386 15.0-STABLE i386 pkgbase 2025-11-29 09:50:55 /usr/local/poudriere/jails/stable15-i386

But such might not be the long term intent.

(Once armv7 no longer has kernel support, the same sort of question
will apply for it.)
