Can we STOP THIS THREAD NOW PLEASE! It's not getting us anything but an exchange of invective and I took this offline ages ago. John, PLEASE, enough. You're a very intelligent guy, as are many of the others on the CC line, but like them sometimes you really just don't know when to quit, and the time for quitting this discussion was about 10 emails back. You gain nothing by continuing to debate Messrs. McVoy and Miller on these lists except a headache, and this is made all the more annoying by the fact that we've BEEN here before, in excrutiating detail, and this is all reading like a bad LSD flashback. Summary: Larry, we can take this up in person at the next USENIX. I'll bring the padded NERF-bats. Jason, well, I know you don't want to be here anyway. Miller, we've already concluded our discussion in person. Kevin, you've been smart enough to stay out of this - I commend you. Linus, good luck on your thesis. Mailing lists: Sorry. We now return you to your regularly scheduled on-topic discussions. Finito! Thank you! Jordan
