However, manually recreating this same setting does *not* cause 14.3 to crash; I've separately bisected the crash-and-instantly-reboot behavior, when in the presence of this hw.uart.console setting, to commit eae36de826cc6fde3a78b1febad824dad20e004d https://cgit.freebsd.org/src/commit/?id=eae36de826cc6fde3a78b1febad824dad20e004d I'm happy to debug further, but I could use some advice on where to go from here. I've been unable to get a kernel crash dump, so far, by setting dumpdev to a swap device in the loader.
