I've changed that in the past, I mean the part when you first telnet to the box the FreeBSD/i386 (somehostname) (ttyp0) That part. I'd like to mask the OS name etc. I've seen this done on linux systems, but wasn't sure how it was done or if it could be done in freebsd.
