https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D234248 Bug ID: 234248 Summary: rc.conf(5): Description of kld_list doesn't specify format of list Product: Documentation Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Manual Pages Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: david@fiander.info CC: doc@FreeBSD.org The description of the rc.conf variable "kld_list" is "(str) A list of kern= el modules to load right after the local disks are mounted. Loading modules at this point in the boot process is much faster than doing it via /boot/loader.conf for those modules not necessary for mounting local disk." It doesn't give the format of the list. Is is space separated, comma separa= ted, or something else? (Empirically, a space separated list works.) The descriptions of kldxref_module_path, the jail_* variables, and netwait_ip do describe the format of their respective lists. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
