--Kj7319i9nmIyA2yE Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hello Everyone, I've been running FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE on my Sharp Actius UM32W for a month = now. I'm still new to FreeBSD so I'm doing a lot of learning on the fly.=20 One issue I've run into is that the unit will randomly power off on its own= . It has happened under load, while compiling, and also when the system is = sitting idle. It's spiratic and unpredictable. Since I'm still very new to FreeBSD I'm uncertain whether it's something I'= ve configured incorrectly or if it's a problem that is beyond the scope of = this mailing list. The cooling fans turn on when the system is under load s= o it seems that ACPI is functioning correctly. I'm using the default GENERI= C kernel. Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can dissect this issue and = see where I've gone wrong?=20 Thanks, - jstn __ __ __ __=20 |__|.--.--.-----.| |_|__|.-----.| | _?_ | || | |__ --|| _| || ||__| (o-0)=09 | ||_____|_____||____|__||__|__||__| -ooO--(_)--Ooo- |___| "talk is cheap because jstn.sdf1.org =20 supply exceeds demand." --Kj7319i9nmIyA2yE Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (NetBSD) iD8DBQFB5TVMPpr5wVVwYfURAvQNAJ488oWa+WMmaJxqzJUSJ+Ntzf2LFQCfcPOo uB2nC9ohEfers5v8FUQQwZQ= =iDI2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Kj7319i9nmIyA2yE--
