It fixes the VMIO code problem that causes the MSDOSFS crash. I have been running it without any problem since July, so if more people can confirm the fix works and has no side effect, then I can commit it. With this fix in, we could turn on VMIO for block device vnodes permanently, so all file systems and userland applications that directly access block devices (database server?) can take advantage of that.
