Should I just unsubscribe for the duration, Depends on how long you'll be gone, what provisions you have to receive mail while away (i.e. can you just let it accumulate in your mailbox?), whether you want to *read* what has transpired while you were away, etc. You could let it accumulate in your mailbox. You could unsubscribe before leaving (please use the right address and don't post your unsubscribe directly to the *list*! :>). You could set up a .forward to pass the stuff along to you (if you'll be at a different email address). You could set up a .forward to archive the mail to a specific file (if your mailbox is on a small partition or has other rules governing it's size, etc.) > or is there some magical vacation mode? Also, is there a way to find out > what groups I am subscribed to with some sort of listing command? Try "which". Remember: majordomo@freebsd.org for administrative requests. Have a good time (wherever you're going!) --don
