Hi all,
I was hoping to request a document (simple text..aloside "errata" & the
"readme"), specifying possible CD layout of FTP archives. This would greatly
help users who download the FreeBSD distribution to burn it to CD with the
correct layout, and ease the installation process.
e.g. It took me a bit, and cost me a few CD'z to figure if the file system
was:
/ -
|
- 3.4 RELEASE
|
- XF86335
|
..... etc etc.
or whether it was
/ -
|
- XF86336
|
- bin
|
..... etc etc...
or even
/ -
|
- i386
|
- 3.4 RELEASE
|
.... etc etc....
