In have installed devel/llvm33 and lang/clang33. On this specific 9.2-STABLE system, I
use this setting in /etc/make.conf for clang over gcc 4.2 selection:
[...]
##
## CLANG
##
.if !defined(NO_CLANG)
.if !defined(CC) || ${CC} == "cc"
CC= clang
.endif
.if !defined(CXX) || ${CXX} == "c++"
CXX= clang++
.endif
.if !defined(CPP) || ${CPP} == "cpp"
CPP= clang-cpp
.endif
## Don't die on warnings
NO_WERROR=
WERROR=
## Don't forget this when using Jails!
#NO_FSCHG=
CFLAGS+= -O3 -pipe -fno-strict-aliasing
COPTFLAGS+= -O3 -pipe
.endif
[...]
As of this moment, I replace llvm33 with llvm34 and clang33 with clang34 (ports). How can
I asure that system's base compiler is used?
