            Bug ID: 242495
Summary: The native version of Opera needs to be removed from
                    the FreeBSD handbook
           Product: Documentation
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Documentation
          Assignee: doc@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: ultimateninjamaster948@gmail.com

As many of you know, Opera switched from their own browser engine to Blink a
while back. When they did this, support for FreeBSD ceased. The latest vers=
ion
of Opera that is available for FreeBSD natively is 12.16 ... which is extre=
mely
outdated. It is not wise to instruct people to use a web browser from 2013.=
 I
recommend that the native version of the Opera web browser stop being
recommended in the FreeBSD handbook, and only the Linux version of Opera sh=
ould
be recommended going forward.
