I moved a working ATA DVD-RW from an internal to a firewire external
enclosure. Now, I can't write to it.
But, I can fo this:
Host (/root) > dvd+rw-format
* DVD±RW/-RAM format utility by <appro@fy.chalmers.se>, version 4.10.
- usage: dvd+rw-format [-force[=full]] [-lead-out|-blank[=full]]
[-ssa[=none|default|max]] /dev/cdrom

* 4.7GB DVD-RW media in Sequential mode detected.
* formatting 81.6%
When I try to write this happens (access light illuminates briefly,
then goes out until it closes the disk) :
