Maybe I am missing the point of this conversation, but at work here we use a program called 'rdist'. It is in the packages collection. It copies all the files from one computer to another; we use it to copyu all our files from one disk to the other. It makes a perfect copy/backup. We installed the boot sector on the backup disk, and when/if the main disk crashes, we just unplug it and reboot. I would think it would work if you had two ccd'd disk sets. --Chris
