mimedefang reliably defangs all such viruses, in my experience, and includes spam-assassin. Playing catch-up on every virus is quite tedious, and ultimately sure to fail. On the exceedingly rare occasions when sending an executable file is necessary, renaming/compressing/encrypting it will allow it to pass. Does anybody know a reason *not* to run mimedefang, if you run sendmail? -- Barney Wolff http://www.databus.com/bwresume.pdf I'm available by contract or FT, in the NYC metro area or via the 'Net.
