xterm allows cut/paste with any modifier key active except
Control. If I have a "clickable" program running in an xterm, the
easy workaround is to hold down the Shift key to cut and paste
(assuming that shift-clicking isn't intercepted by your window
manager). Perhaps the same could be done with syscons so that clicks
aren't passed to the tty.
