Anyone have success with gphoto2 with serial? Anyone use a Casio QV300 camera? I have gphoto2-2.1.1 installed. crw-rw---- 1 uucp dialer 28, 128 Jan 21 15:13 /dev/cuaa0 I am member of dialer group. And I also tried as root. gphoto2 hangs my X when running. (I thought my machine was locked up; I didn't try remote connection to it.) After a reboot, when it hung again, I unplugged the serial and my X was usable again. gphoto2 did core dump: #0 0x281e0471 in gp_camera_init () from /usr/local/lib/libgphoto2.so.2 #1 0x281e1f6e in gp_camera_folder_list_files () from /usr/local/lib/libgphoto2.so.2 #2 0x804bac7 in list_files_action () #3 0x804d779 in for_each_folder () #4 0x804fcca in cli_error_print () #5 0x2825432f in invokeCallbacksOPTION () from /usr/local/lib/libpopt.so.0 #6 0x28255974 in poptGetNextOpt () from /usr/local/lib/libpopt.so.0 #7 0x80517a5 in main () #8 0x804b242 in _start () Some debugging follows my signature.
