Gleb and I talked about this privately. We agreed to keep this out of the tree for the time being, even though I have code that uses this and does do quite a bit of traffic with it. I'm going to use this as an excuse to finally write up a proper "wire pages into mbufs and write them out" api for socket writes and use a kqueue notification mechanism to complete the transactions. -adrian
