if ever this helps, I just came accross these messages on a
(7-stable) nfs-client against my 8-stable server which passes
the test :

 Oct 3 17:25:05 push kernel: nfs_getpages: error 1433597680
Oct 3 17:25:05 push kernel: vm_fault: pager read error, pid 26821 (cmp)
 Oct 3 17:28:25 push kernel: nfs_getpages: error 1435664464
Oct 3 17:28:25 push kernel: vm_fault: pager read error, pid 27017 (cp)

IMHO looks like some rare nfs-miss-communication which passes silently
against a 7-nfssrver but gets noticed (and corrected ..) against a
8-nfsserver

/disclaimer it is late (here) and I need sleep

Arno
