For what it's worth, the Crystal Semiconductor chips are what are used on the Motorolla PowerStack and other PReP compliant systems. You may find some documentation from the LinuxPPC or NetBSD PPC projects. Back when I was porting FreeBSD to the Motorolla PowerStack (using PPCBug instead of Open Firmware), Crystal Semiconductor was very forthcoming with datasheets for all of the CS chips on board the hardware.
