Let's say we're talking about a 3-stage boot here now and it goes naturally into /usr/mdec, right? Wrong, since /usr isn't even mounted yet. Oh, so that should go into /boot then? And boot1 and boot2 should still go into /usr/mdec? That makes no sense at all and if Garrett really thinks this through, he'll see that. /usr/mdec needs to die.
