Subject: Compiling a list (FAQ?) of java technologies for FreeBSD?

Hi

I'm considering compiling a mini-FAQ of java technologies in use on
FreeBSD. These would include basically any class library, compiler or
VM for java (or java + extensions - e.g. gc). Thus far the list appears to
include:

jdk - port of the Sun jdk (classes/compiler/VM) - native FreeBSD
kaffe - kaffe VM - native FreeBSD (from src)
japhar - the Hungry Programmers VM - native FreeBSD (from src)
towerJ - towerJ compiler - Linux (?) binary
classpath - classpath classes - Java
guavac - guavac - native FreeBSD (from source)
jites - IBM Java VM (?) - Linux (?)
gcj - java (+ extensions) compiler - ?
gjc - java -> native compiler - native FreeBSD (from src)

Have I left anything out? I'm looking at getting gjc working myself, and
I've already got guavac, kaffe and the jdk. As for the rest, can people
who have experience in using those tools email me with:

1) Info on availability, and installation.

2) Experiences of using those tools?

Then I can put together a document summarising the state of play for
newcomers and send it out to the world at large.

Thanks,
Peter
