However, I think that 1) There is a strong need to continue to fix bugs in a released version up to the time that the next version is released. (And if you are releasing unstable code, even longer) 2) Since there would not be many patches expected, an event driven system is preferable to a polled system of distribution. 3) We could also offer an "anouncement" service to notify those users who prefer to fetch the updates via ftp or sup. ---- Richard Wackerbarth rkw@dataplex.net
