It was caused by something I did a few days ago.  I had stopped the ctm 
process, and then forgot to erase a lock file.  As soon as I saw your 
email, I had that "stupid me" moment, and knew exactly what I had done. 
  It really was my fault, and the thanks should really be from me to you 
for bringing the problem to my attention.
