[RSZ]  Hello there!

I am trying to get Hylafax to run under FreeBSD 2.2.2;
I am working with v3.0pl0 of hylafax, as newer versions will not compile
under FreeBSD.
I would like to be able to use a remote server (ascend max) to dial out.

At this time, hylafax is running on the local serial port, /dev/ttyd0,
and I can 'telnet modem-serv port-number' on the Max.

Is there a way to get hylafax to use a tcp socket to conenct to a modem
port ?

Or....

Is there a way to create a 'device' under FreeBSD that would act as a
modem but would connect to a remote modem... maybe even using a script
to authenticate (you know, to send a password)...

thanks
