Has anyone had success with FreeBSD 4.x and the fxp driver when used with an Intel 82559ER chip? I believe this chip is the same as a normal 82559 but with some of the management functions removed. The device ID is different so the current driver doesn't recognize it, but if I modify the code to recognize the device is it likely to work? Thanks.
