No, unfortunately there isn't (at least, not without delving into the code). Your best and simplest option really is to install lang/perl5.8. Remember that you need to install it with the WITH_THREADS make option in order to get a threaded perl. Threading support in perl-5.005.03 was still quite experimental. Support in a recent version, like 5.8.5 is much better Cheers, Matthew --=20 Dr Matthew J Seaman MA, D.Phil. 26 The Paddocks Savill Way PGP: http://www.infracaninophile.co.uk/pgpkey Marlow Tel: +44 1628 476614 Bucks., SL7 1TH UK --DocE+STaALJfprDB Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.6 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFBmMCDiD657aJF7eIRAiCvAJ44XINDwqBun2PeNX7R2gjttfO2wACfZcZ5 s6oU6K86apXtKtmgqUVBWDU= =J4SJ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --DocE+STaALJfprDB--
