Just a general question: Are these patches being fed back to the appropriate projects for inclusion in their updates? I mean, I already do this for things like: BIND, groff, ethereal, amcl, tuxnes, snes9x, etc etc. It would eliminate a lot of patches over time. Good practice if you ask me.
