ATAPI support is not included in the kernel by default, you have 
recompile it to get the support.

You have to mark ``src'' in the install program, it will drop to a 
sub-menu that lets you pick which sources to install.  You want sys or 
ssys, I can't remember how the installer gives it.

cat ssys.* | tar xzf -
