https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=296015 Bug ID: 296015 Summary: /dist/packages/FreeBSD:14:amd64/All/pkg-2.5.1.pkg missing Product: Base System Version: 14.4-RELEASE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: misc Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: masa@amogha.jp FreeBSD-14.4-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1.iso does not contain packages/FreeBSD:14:amd64/All/pkg-2.5.1.pkg so that a symbolic link packages/FreeBSD:14:amd64/Latest/pkg.pkg becomes void reference. For this reason, standalone package installation using the DVD image is currently difficult. I think this happened relating to moving of all packages in All to All/Hashed, but I can find All/Hashed/pkg-2.5.1~3e6c778e22.pkg. I think /usr/src/release/scripts/make-pkg-package.sh should be corrected. And here I would like to mention one more improvement in /usr/src/release/scripts/FreeBSD_install_cdrom.conf: *** release/scripts/FreeBSD_install_cdrom.conf Fri Mar 6 09:20:21 2026 --- release/scripts/FreeBSD_install_cdrom.conf.new Fri Jun 12 09:56:12 2026 *************** *** 13,15 **** --- 13,18 ---- enabled: no } + FreeBSD-kmods: { + enabled: no + } -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
