Am I to understand you have a Xircom CE2 that really works? I have one, but all it does is reset itself continuously - it lights up, and maybe pings other boxes, but if you try to *do* anything useful - forget it. Constant watchdog timeouts and card resets. If this works, I'd be curious as to what the magic is. -----Original Message----- From: Warner Losh [mailto:imp@bsdimp.com] Sent: Tuesday, January 02, 2001 2:43 PM To: Kevin Oberman Cc: Maciuszonek Artur; freebsd-mobile@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: Re: Xircom Ceditcard Ethernet In message <200101021848.f02ImIJ28272@ptavv.es.net> "Kevin Oberman" writes: : In any case, I always see one timeout on my RealPort 10/100 card after : insertion. I see it sometimes for my 10/100 card (CE3), but only very rarely for the CE2 that I have. I'd forgotten that this had come up about 9 months ago and it was like you said. Some cards do this more often than others.
