Oh, and I'm not sure about CVSup's metadata either (/usr/sup ?), running CVSup soon is a good way to get that restored. It will take slightly longer than a daily cvsup but nowhere near as long as a 3.2->stable update. It's important to keep the window of time small between your last cvsup and resynching the metadata on the new install.
