I just recently purchased a Linksys WAP and card and I have been trying,
with no luck, to get the card recognized by FreeBSD. The card says it
is a WPC11 ver. 4.
When I plug the card into my laptop, I see this:
May 25 16:08:57 buttercup kernel: Manufacturer ID: 00004c02
May 25 16:08:57 buttercup kernel: Functions: Network Adaptor,

I am running this on a Dell Latitude C600. I cvsup'd -CURRENT last
night and just recently rebuilt everything. I have tried both a GENERIC
kernel and my customized kernel -- both to no avail.
The system does recognize my 3Com 575 PC Card, so I am relatively
certain I have the correct devices compiled into the kernel.
Has anybody made this card work yet? What did I miss? If this chipset
does not work with -CURRENT, I can still take it back for a refund.
I am willing to provide boot -v output, kernel config files, etc on
request.
Thanks for any help,
Mik
