"Local package initialisation" suggests that the problem is relating to something running from /usr/local/etc/rc.d > -- rc.conf > lpd_enable="YES" > lprng_enable="YES" ... which I'm guessing is lprng. However, lpd is already running, and I'm guessing that has already bound to port 515. Gavin
