Don't mess with directories with -d. It makes no sense to do this here
anyway, since ${PREFIX}/bin and ${PREFIX}/man/man1 are both created with
correct ownerships/permissions using mtree.
This is why I was against the "-d" flag addition to install! Maybe
I should rewind /usr/bin/install on our package building machine.... :(
