>Description:
add the following entry to /etc/defaults/pccard.conf:
# Linksys WPC11 Ver 2.5/3.0
card "The Linksys Group, Inc." "Instant Wireless Network PC Card"
config auto "wi" ? 0x10000
insert /etc/pccard_ether $device start
remove /etc/pccard_ether $device stop
>How-To-Repeat:
insert the above card on a system with out the pccard.conf entry and
the card is not recognized. With the above entry both the V2.5 and
V3.0 cards are recognized and work just fine. Tested on 2 different
laptops, with 2 different cards.
>Fix:
add the following to /etc/defaults/pccard.conf:
# Linksys WPC11 Ver 2.5/3.0
card "The Linksys Group, Inc." "Instant Wireless Network PC Card"
config auto "wi" ? 0x10000
insert /etc/pccard_ether $device start
remove /etc/pccard_ether $device stop
