Both the right and left sides have a key to prevent low voltage only cards from being plugged into a non-low voltage supporting socket. The key is divided into approx 1/3rds For a high voltage card, the bottom 1/3 is present and the top 2/3rds are missing. IF you have a known pccard around, it is easy to see the difference when held side by side.
