Thanks a lot, Greg! I used the wrong syntax /:) It builds as I write this email :)= I am sending the output of the make process to a file. I will filter it for warnings and errors, and then put it somewhere online. I'll post the URL. The compile process is IMHO very slow, I think I'll try to relink bin/javac to jikes. That may dramatically improve speed (*if* it works). BTW: Thanks to all who responded so quickly to my email (Greg, Steve, Nate and Gary), I think it's fabulous to see the teamspirit and enthusiasm :) Ernst -- Ernst de Haan Freelance Java Architect "Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" -- Jesus Christ [-- Attachment #2 --] begin:vcard n:de Haan;Ernst tel;fax:+31 (0)26 3645634 tel;work:+31 (0)26 3623895 x-mozilla-html:FALSE url:http://www.znerd.demon.nl/ org:Jollem adr:;;Rozendaalselaan 35;Velp;GLD;6881 KZ;Netherlands version:2.1 email;internet:ernst@jollem.com title:Java Architect fn:Ernst de Haan end:vcardhelp
