Luiz, O problema que eu estava tendo era a permissão do diretório onde fora instalado o rancid. Obrigado pela dica! Could anyone tell me how Rancid is being used for and how well it's being deployed in everyday job environment? I mean, I still did not get its real power as Cisco Backup management tool. I'm still running a bunch of excpect net::telnet::cisco backup scripts that's being at least reasonable to what I really need. Thanks in advance. Hi Thiago!!! How are you?? Ok... Do you need to copy your cvsweb.cgi to the cgi directory (ex: apache = /usr/local/apache/cgi-bin). Edit you cvsweb.conf and review the paths os directorys where the cgi-s and files are. Good Luck! Hi, I'm new to rancid cvsweb and I'm facing this problem. Error: No valid CVS roots found! See @CVSrepositories in the configuration file (/usr/local/cvsweb/cvsweb.conf). The original directory of my CVSROOT is: /usr/local/rancid/var/CVS/ It's rather weird, because when I copy this directory and pate in my www/root directory and point the configuration file to this path it works. Please, I appreciate any help to solve this problem.
