Well KDE is a desktop environment, kdevelop is a C/C++ IDE, built
with the QT libraries. I haven't looked into it, but I suspect the
"-i18n" is just the version/build of kdevelop that is in my ports
tree.
Check out the kdevelop website, I find it hard not to be impressed.
Then again, I'm not a developer, so... ;)
