It is very expensive though, and has a fan, but I believe there is a less expensive model, and also a less powerful one with totally passive cooling. You could use small DC-DC converter and a 90W 'brick' PSU to power the beast without any fans. Hardware random number generator and cryptographic engine work with FreeBSD, AFAIK.
