Hello everyone : Is there any way to use usernames ( Login Names ) that have Uppercase letters ? Acording with the man pages it may be only lowercase letters or digits . I have migrated users from a Windoze box, and all of them use capital letters, but my FreeBSD 4.0 box does not recognize them ( It complains as if the User were Unknown ). If I change one of them to only lowercase letters it works, but I can not change all the usernames. Any suggestions ?
