hello all. i resently started messing with Proftpd. in tring to get everything up and running im running into some PAM problems. as per the readme and info from the mailing list i''ve added the following to my /etc/pam.conf file ftp auth required pam_unix.so try_first_pass ftp account required pam_unix.so try_first_pass ftp session required pam_unix.so try_first_pass on tring to log into the running proftpd syslog returns the following errors. proftpd[29847]: unable to resolve symbol: pam_sm_open_session proftpd[29847]: unable to resolve symbol: pam_sm_close_session proftpd[29847]: PAM(chrisj): Authentication failure any help would be great chris To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-security" in the body of the message
