My Tyan K8W S2885 works fine with its onboard Broadcom. Will's problems appear caused by ACPI problems, which is a property of the particular BIOS the motherboard interacting with whatever bugs exist in FreeBSD's ACPI interpreter. Your Tyan probably works as-is. Will might check the MSI website for BIOS updates, and perhaps the FreeBSD repository to see if there have been any ACPI fixes installed since RC2. > From: "Michael J.
